As an Intuitive Wellness Coach I help people transform themselves, feel better, and live fuller! I specialize in mindset and habit changing, finding balance in daily diet & lifestyle, and overcoming chronic illness through these techniques:
Ayurveda has been used for over 5,000 years in India and translates to “the science of life”. This oldest system of medicine in the world is based on the nature in, around, and through us, and how every molecule on this earth, in this universe, and in you are a part of this science. You, the food you eat, the products you use, and everything else around you, can be split into 3 main categories (doshas or gunas) and 5 elements (ether, air, fire, water, earth). Ayurveda aims for balance, and when something in the body becomes imbalanced, we can turn to these doshas and elements for answers. The food we eat, products we use, and people we surround ourselves with, and sensory input we take in all have an effect on our individual balance. By adding and subtracting specific things in our life’s, we can find balances which allow us to think clearer, feel better, and perform at higher levels.
Intuition, trusting yourself, and gut instinct are very integral to healing mentally & physically for overall wellness. Our gut is the core of our being and when we know we can listen to it and trust ourselves we gain confidence in ALL aspects of our lives. We start to show up more for ourselves and others and become more productive, grounded, and in tune with what our body and spirit need and how the things around us are effecting us. It’s easy to get caught up in the grind of life and begin to stop listening to what we really need. Like when and what we should really eat, instead of choosing quick and convenient solutions which can leave us feeling sluggish and unwell especially over time. Or when we keep grinding through our fatigue to finish a task instead of going to bed. Or we get caught up in our devices and forget that we should give our eyes and brain a break. We begin ignoring our natural rhythms and urges and our bodies become confused. We don’t listen to our heart that is telling us to end a relationship, find a new doctor, or start a new career. Learning to ask your highest self what you truly want and how to hear the answer are tools we are innately born with and that our modern culture has conditioned us out of but we can easily rediscover and incorporate into our modern life’s.
Brain Retraining & Autonomic Nervous System Retraining has been used for recovering from chronic illness, severe injury including brain trauma, and overcoming many mental conditions. I have personally broken through massive false beliefs and conditions I had including Sensory Processing Disorders, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, food allergies, PTSD, POTS(postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), and countless other symptoms related to Lyme disease by retraining my brain and autonomic nervous system.
Breathwork & Cold Therapy are both ancient practices that have been used around the world for millennia and are no new health fad. Both of these practices overlap with Brain/Autonomic Nervous System Retraining and Ayurveda. Breathwork revitalizes the mind and body by bringing in more oxygen and resetting your heartrate, cortisol levels (fight or flight mode), breathing rate, and PH levels to name a few.
Plant medicine has been used since the beginning of human history to facilitate us as humans becoming our own alchemists. For example, psilocybin has remained a part of medicinal and shamanistic culture around the world for thousands of years. It has been shown to create more neuroplasticity in the brain allowing connections to be made through new brain synapses which typically wouldn’t occur. Meaning the potential for new pathways in the brain and new favorable patterns of daily operation to be created. In combination with energy work, intuitive processes, movement, discovery, and release, this journey can be extremely profound on an individual’s wellness path.
